Dr. Farid Ahmed

Dr. Farid Ahmed is currently an assistant professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department at the Catholic University of America. He also taught for several years at Penn State Erie, Western Michigan University, Wilberforce University, and BUET. His teaching and research interests include multimedia authentication, computer networks, data and network security, and signal/image processing. Apart from the professional activities, he has some interests in research and education assisted development in Bangladesh.

Other pet projects include collaborative learning of Quran (through Dahuk QARI project) and Ethics and morality in engineering education. He is married having two children named Adib and Shamsia.
